Upgrade components

Glyphs

These glyphs are acquired by completing dungeons. Some can even be found in specific World Tier 3 zones. It is important to note that glyphs are only available to characters who have created a root-dungeon with the same level of depth.
In order to use a Glyph it is necessary to create it using components and connect them using anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths within the same layer. If you do not want to create the glyph with components, you can use the combination of paths and anchors. Then, drag an element near the highlighted component to snap it into place.
Some glyphs have conditions to satisfy, like having 25 Dexterity or more in a specific region on the Paragon Board. Certain glyphs require a particular number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which can also be difficult to achieve. Some glyphs have a radius, which increases as you level it up.
Glyphs are able to be applied to a variety of weapons and items, with the exception for those of a specific class. Some of these glyphs have additional requirements, for example an amount of Dexterity damage or Attack damage on a specific part of the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph adds the chance to block enemy attacks. It also has an opportunity to make the Hero vulnerable for 2 turns.

Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll the result of an Action. When the reroll occurs, they are thrown away. Reroll tokens are available in many ways, such as through dungeons and raids, or through participation in skirmishes. You can also buy them at the shop or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons or trials because they allow players to roll rewards from the end of the chest.
For item upgrade that are at level 1, there are recycling points. When recycle an item, it will add a certain number of points to the upgrade gauge. The value varies according to the item's level and rarity. Additionally, the upgraded item won't retain its level when rerolled and the cost for recycling an upgraded item goes up with its level.
Another option is to use reroll tokens in order to make an upgrade item rerollable however, this won't return the item to its original state or provide the original stats. This is a great option for those who wish to reroll a piece of equipment they don't like but still want to keep in their collection.
There are three different types of upgrade tokens available in the game: reroll, random and upgrade. Each type has a few subtypes. For example, reroll tokens are available in three levels: rare, enhanced and legendary. Each level requires an item from its respective level to create a new item of that level.
To make use of reroll tokens, right-click on the Satanic or Angelic item in the inventory and select "Reroll Token". Select a type of token. The tokens available include Item, Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The Item token can be used to create a brand new Item in any quality. Using the Weapon or Misc token will result in a new weapon from the same faction.
The item may also be upgraded to a new item with similar stats, but at a higher level. This will occur if the item been placed in the Pool that is not droppable or was transferred to it as part of an franchise card.
